I wanted to share a great resource for people that are deal with a missing child.

I live in a small town. It was September and all the kids were back in school. It was the very first day of school. Now you all know that when the children are dismissed it's everyone for themselves. Children are shoving to get out and off the school grounds. Well, Jimmy had left his class with books in hand and proceeded to walk home. Right on the cornor of the school is a crosswalk. Parents are parked everywhere. Droves of children pouring out of school. Now it is going to get interesting. A woman was standing next to a car with a man inside. She grabbed Jimmy and was trying to throw him in the car.Jimmy said it all happened so fast.Next thing you know he was in the back seat of the car. He started screaming and kicking. He broke loose and ran back to the school. But, by then the car was gone. He was very lucky the women grabed him instead of the man. He would have never seen his parents again. Children always need to watch for crazy people that want to harm them. Jimmy was very lucky.

this is aperfect example how kids cant be safe anywhere these days. parents shouldnt let their kids walk back and forth from school like that until mayeb they are in highschool (by then hopefully thyell have a car and such). i see little kids walking to andfrom school all the time and its really dangerous cause it only takes less than a minute to be kidnapped for the rest of their life.

also i dont know what kind of school that was butmaybe you should tellt hem about this if they dont already know and suggest a different method insteadof just kids running everywhre trying to find their parents or starting to walk home. most schools around here have a drive through where you have to show a sign that is issued by the school with your child's name on it and then they bring thechild to your car and open the door for them so you dont hae to get out. this is great because the children are safe inside the school until their parents come, and also since they are escorted by a teacher/adult they can instantly tell them if the car is not theirs or they dont know who that person is.

they could also do a system where at the beginning of the drive through area they can look up your license plate and you can at the beginning of the school year tell them your plate numbers so they can recognize you as one of thekid's pick up persons. this wouuldnt take long at all in fact if they wanted to do this at the local elementary school the way they already have the rest set up, all theyd have to do is add a little laptop to one person at the front and things would be fine.

Somehow those stories are both sad and amazing at the same time.
