Default missing criminals

i dont think a lot of the society focuses enough on criminals that we are looking for. sure theres that show on tv that tells you the americans most wanted list but there are a lot of local criminals that pose just as big of a threat because they are close to you. i think if we can find these people we can reduce the risks of missing children especially and also prevent other crimes

Yes, Some Criminals are just hiding, some of them doing crimes again.
So we should be aware and be familiarize what are they faces, and how they look.
So we can stay away from them.
We should be alert all the times.

Yeah, there is a dozen of criminals out there...Criminals live everywhere...
So we should worry about it, it is not a joke anymore, police should move and do somethin'...
And as an individual, we should be aware of that people!
Just always check your security inside and out of your house

I think one very good point is that when people simply thing of "missing people" they never associate criminals. Much of the time minor criminals might not show up for a court date or known criminals flee; on occasion, you'll even have the fugitive who's escaped. Now, these people are "missing" in themselves, which is sort of my point.

However, your point is a much better one. These "missing" or "hiding" criminals may really be the sole cause of genuine missing people. Not just criminals after the act, but people with a past history of crime. It's really something to think about and you're right - it does deserve more attention, especially from the government.

Excelent points Lpspider. However, I'd think the above one obvious.

Again, that's sort of obvious.

However, I do agree though. We should pay more attention to existing criminals and espeically people with a past criminal record that may indicate they could cause someone, a child in particular, to be a victim to kidnapping. Just my thoughts.

I heard that a lot of ex-cons who were supposed to be on parole in New Orleans are unaccounted for since the hurricane. This is kind of scary to me, because there is no way to find out where they are.

This is why I stand by my believing in harsher punishments for criminals, these little slaps on the wrist does more damage to innocent people then the law realises.

While there are a lot of criminals that are among us on the streets you can not live your life in fear. The best thing that you can do for your family is just to be alert when you are out and make sure that nothing odd is going on around you. The other thing that people need to remember is that people on parole have paid their debt to society and it is possible for someone to change their ways.

Yeah, can't live in fear, thats no life at all. But being aware is good thing. They should give stricter sentences to certain offences such as rape, murder, child molesters, ect... I hate seeing someone steal something and get life, but if you kill someone you out in 3 to 5.
