My baby sister,Hope Danelle Meek,disappeared from her home in Valliant Oklahoma in February of 2002.She is married and has 3 children,who at the time of her disappearance was 6 years old,3 years old and 10 months old.Her husband did not call us for more than 5 days.But we had not heard from her,even though we were calling her cell about 20 times a day.3 days after anyone heard from her,we had le in her town go do a check.Her husband said she just left(her new truck sat in driveway),but when questiones 3 days later,he said he hadn't seen her since thursday the previous week.
The authorities got a search warrant and searched the home,but what they found strange is Hope's glasses,contacts,cell phone,credit cards,bank books,truck,all her clothes,cosmetics and everything was still there.Not to mention,the oldest child is hers from a previous marriage.
The husband won't talk to authorities,has a woman living with him,he just won't cooperate.
My sister wouldn't leave her children,she was a graet mother.when she disappeared,she was working at the mMcCurtain county sheriffs dept,she escorted inmates from their cells to court appearances,was soon to graduate college with a degree in criminal law.Her husband is suspected of doing something to her,but as of now,we don't have enough for the authorities to make an arrest,because if they charge him now and the evidence doesn't convict him,double jeopardy applies and they can't retry him.
This is a nightmare....I feel like I am going crazy trying to get answers.
