There are so many stories coming out of the Hurricane zone I thought it would be great if people could posts some of the stories that moved them.

I just caught a great story on Fox News about a young man (don't remember his name) that stole a school bus so he could help evacuate some of the refugees in the New Orleans area. He packed the bus he commandeered with 80+ refugees and drove the bus to Houston. Along the way everyone on the bus chipped in to help pay for the gas.

I had a friends friend who lived in New Orleans and lost a family member - not that they died, but that they were missing. They couldn't find each other for weeks and both feared the other dead. I believe they actually met each other on a "survivors" database on the internet - that's why places like this are so cool.

Anyway, they found each other, so the story has a happy ending.

I think this was the sadest time in my life and don't want to think about it too much these days. I pray that everyone left behind can live a good life now and move past this.
